The Mermaid - Kingdom of Meridien, Sea of Azar.

The name “Mermaid” originated in the Sea of Azar thousands of years ago. They were initially called the “Meridien Maidens”, but a wise Great Owl named Theodore had a brilliant idea. He shortened their name by taking the first 3 letters of “Meridien” and the first 4 letters of “Maiden", combined them together and Voila....the “MERMAID” came to be.  Bravo Theodore!!
