Take Oriana, the queen of Meridian. She's more than just a pretty face with a fishtail (though let's be honest, she's got that going for her too).

Oriana's people have a prophecy about a hidden power in the depths, a power that only a true queen can wield. She spends her nights listening to the ocean's whispers, trying to figure out what it all means.

And then there's Bakari, the Emperor Cat of Pinnacle Mountain. He's got a castle, a fluffy tail, and a knack for being in the right place at the right time (or maybe it's more than just luck?). Legends say that a black cat with emerald eyes will guide Azar through its darkest hour.
